Alexandre Augusto Moutinho Raimundo Alves Aleluia is Phd student in Biomedical Sciences at IUCS-CESPU. His academic background focused in marine biology with a First Cycle Degree (BSc) in Aquatic Sciences (2020) and a Master's degree in Marine Sciences -Marine Resources (2023), both completed at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of Abel Salazar, University of Porto. His work on the master thesis focused on the biological and ecological effects of marine micro-debris in marine wildlife. He held a research grant in the scope of the project "RESPONSE - Toward a risk-based assessment of microplastic pollution in marine ecosystems", where he worked at the laboratory of Ecotoxicology at ICBAS. His work includes primary characterization and identification of microplastics in marine wild life and subsequent data analysis.
